About Us
Since 2015 we've been perfecting the most loving and doting canine companions. Located in Apple Valley, CA. I am relatively new to the breeding scene by other's standards yet, I've accomplished more than many in my 5 years.

Here at Poodles and Pei we are hands on during our girls' labor and delivery. We don't get in the way by any means but we are there to lend a helping hand.
Many people frown upon humans doing more than observing their dams delivery but we are there to clamp cords and to clear passageways to ensure our babies don't get pneumonia or bleed out.
If you've ever seen a dog give birth it's very messy and it's very common for a dam to accidentally bite off a foot or go to short on an umbilical cord resulting in a lost puppy.
These are just a few reasons for us being present during our deliveries. From the moment they're out of their mom we do our best to ensure their survival.
Raising Puppies
We believe in Early Neuroligical Stimulation (ENS) and we have seen excellent results from our little ones. We use methods such as:
• Tactile stimulation – pup is gently cradled in one hand as you gently rub a Q-Tip between each of the pups toes
• Puppy held in upright position – With both hands you hold pup so it's head in straight above it's tail
• Cradle position – you support the pup as you have them lay on their back in your hands
This method was first used in the early 1970's to make military dogs more versatile and easier to train. It helped them from a young age to be less afraid in stressful situations and it helps early brain development.
By 6 Weeks of Age
By 6 weeks of age our puppies are practically independent and aren't afraid of much. They understand our wants and are very fast learners.

Dams and Sires
◇Our Sires: Joji ◇◇
• Joji is a solid black Chinese Shar Pei he loves to love you. He's more of an ESA type of companion. He welcomes strangers like they're a part of the family and when he's on guard he has a bark to scare away potential riff raff.
♡Our Dams: Chönk and Jade♡
• Chönk is the definition of happy go lucky. She's all around joy personified. She'll give out kisses like she's Oprah and not give a hoot. She was chosen for her personality. Sometimes service dogs are standoffish with everyone but their charge but I believe a dog shouldn't intimidate if they're a working pooch, that's where Chönk comes in. Shar Pei's already get a bad rap but with her temperament the puppies she'll produce will be the sweetest, more caring, most doting ESA.
• Jade, she's an absolute lilac beauty with green eyes. If you're looking for a working dog she'll be producing them, she's more of a protection dog. Sister to Chönk, she's still loving but she's built like a brick house, and will throw her weight around to keep me safe. I'm hoping to produce a loving family member that will guard everyone in the home. She's not dangerous by any means but she will get between me and someone who's intimidating. Her bark is worse than her bite and oh boy, is that bark quite the deterrent.

The Answers You Need
What's the difference between deposits?
1st, 2nd, and 3rd pick deposits:These are for people who'd like to lock in a gender, coat, or specific color before they're born.
☆☆When puppies are born the rest of the deposit must be paid such as $350 then $325 to be a total of $675 for half of the total cost.☆☆
-For Chinese Shar Pei the price goes $350, $275, and $200
For regular puppy deposits, it is half of their total cost and, unlike other breeders, it goes towards your payment for each pup.
Will they be vet checked?
Again puppies will be dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks prior to leaving. Shots will be administered at 7 weeks to make sure they can handle it. Puppies will come with their health records and be vet checked prior to leaving!
